Profiles-Our Founders

A look into the lives and culture of our founders

Brad Habansky founded Guise in February of 2005. After spending ten years helping start-up technology companies, Brad created the original idea for Guise by combining his love of fashion and his hate of shopping. Brad felt the shopping process was developed for people who enjoyed shopping. He created Guise to be a refuge for people who enjoyed looking fashionable, yet hated the overall shopping experience.

Heidi Taylor has an undeniable passion for the fashion industry, which is reflected in the creation of Guise | Chic. Her background includes buying, designing, and retail management with well-known designers and retailers such as Betsey Johnson, Urban Outfitters and Charlotte Russe, as well as working with some of the creative minds behind Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton. Having spent time working and studying in New York, Paris and on the West Coast, Heidi combines the laid-back style of the Midwest and California with the cutting-edge cool of Paris and New York. This is apparent not only in her personal style, but also in the the labels she has helped select for Guise | Chic.
